This guide will help you access the resources available for WGSN Fashion.

Access through the Library databases
You will need to access WGSN through our library home page so that you are recognised as a Torrens student.
Under Quicklinks, select Databases
Our databases are listed from A-Z in alphabetical order, select W to view WGSN Fashion.
You can also view our collection of Fashion Databases by selecting the subject Fashion from the drop down list.
Navigating WGSN Fashion
Use the toolbar to access different sections of WGSN which contain reports, images and CAD models.
Accessing Reports
The toolbar lists categories of reports related to fashion.
Future strategies- Macro Forecast: Forecasted overview on upcoming consumer trends and changes to the fashion market. Including reports like Future Consumer 2026 and Big Ideas 2026: Fashion
Future strategies- Product Forecast: Forecasts upcoming trends for specific categories of fashion products. This looks specifically at categories like denim, knits, textiles, active wear, footwear, details and trims forecasts.
Market: Analysis reports on specific consumer markets (women's, men's, youth, kids).
Research & Create- Colour: Look here for colour forecasts per season by gender and category, region specific colour forecasts (Europe, China, North America), collection reviews, and reports called "Need-to-Know".
Research & Create- Intelligence: Reports on upcoming changes to global trends in the fashion industry.
Research & Create- Key Items: Updated reports on core fashion items and upcoming novelty fashion innovations.
Buying: Contains retail and business analysis reports on the fashion market.
Search Strategy
Build your search strategy by using filter options such as content type, specific year, market and category of item to help you find the resources you are looking for.
Image Library
The image library contains a collection of images from catwalks, trade shows, fashion industry events and brand collections.
Design Resources
The Design Resources collection contains 2D & 3D CAD models of fashion items, pattern designs, colour codes and fabric swatches.
Use the filters on the left hand side to search for the design elements that you are looking for.
Saving & Downloading
In each report/image/ CAD model, there are save and download options available for use.
Save: Use the save feature to bookmark and categorise reports, images and models into folders in your WGSN account.
Download: Download reports, images and CAD models to store locally on your device.
Fashion Feed
WGSN Fashion's social media feed contains a collection of images that represent fashion trends around the world.
Use the search filter bar to find specific images based on market, category, season, year or even hashtag. These images can be saved and are available for download.
