Searching in library databases is different to searching on the internet.

Library databases are very large collections of articles from academic journals.  We subscribe to a number of high quality databases which you are able to access for free through your student account.
Searching in library databases allows you to:

  • Limit search results so you can quickly remove irrelevant results
  • Limit to academic and peer-reviewed sources
  • Combine keywords to develop sophisticated searche
