The Design Technology Store provides the campus community with access to equipment that includes cinema, cameras, lens, tripods, lighting and audio, available for loan at the Flinders St Campus.

About our services

Submitting your 3D printing request:

  • Have your 3D model ready, offers many pre-made designs
  • Save your 3D model from our list of supported file formats
  • Check your design against the 3D Printing Copyright Guide
  • Load file by selecting Submit a 3D File below – maximum size 20Mb
  • We will then email you with a quote and an approximate turnaround time

Things to know about 3D printing


  • All submissions are subject to approval based on scheduling, availability, and adherence to 3D Printing Copyright Guidelines
  • Print time varies depending on the design and dimensions of the 3D object
  • If the quote is accepted, the user will need to pay in cash, at the Library between 8.30am and 4.00pm Mon-Fri
  • Printing specifications:
  • Build size: SEPlus: 203 x 203 x 152 mm (8 x 8 x 6 in.)
  • Layer thickness: SEPlus: .254 mm (.010 in.) or .330 mm (.013 in.)​

The Lab is a resource for all Torrens students to experiment and create projects with VR equipment. The Lab contains a permanent setup of a HTC VIVE Headset connected to a VR capable test PC.

Included on the PC is a growing list of games and applications for you to use, play and experiment with when you book The Lab.

You are welcome and encouraged to test your own work in the lab as well.
