Canon EOS 6D Setup Guide
Introduction
The Canon 6D is a 20.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor camera. Some of the camera's features include auto exposure lock, auto focus lock, camera orientation detection, DLNA support, face detection, flash exposure lock, and in-camera RAW processing.

Focusing Modes
- Press the AF DRIVE button located above the top display.
- Turn the rear control dial to select Single Shooting for static shots or Continuous Shooting for fast-moving subjects.
ISO Auto
- Select the shooting mode by setting the Mode Dial to Av.
- Press the ISO button.
- Set Auto ISO speed.
Mode Dial (Aperture Priority)
- Set the Mode Dial to Av.
- Press the lock release button.
- Turn the Mode Dial to the desired option.
Image Quality (RAW & JPEG)
- Press the MENU button.
- Select the Shoot tab.
- Select Page 1.
- Select Image Quality.
- Select RAW.
- Select JPEG.
- Select OK to confirm.
Aperture
- Use the top control dial to adjust to the desired aperture.
- Large apertures such as F1.4 create more background blur for portraits, whereas smaller apertures such as F11 are generally better for landscapes.
Metering Mode
- Press the WB button located above the top display.
- Turn the top control dial to select Evaluative Metering.
- Press Set to confirm.
White Balance
- Press Menu.
- Select Page 3.
- Select the desired white balance mode, then press OK.
Format Card
- Press the MENU button.
- Select the WRENCH tab.
- Select Format then press SET.
- Select the card to be formatted.
- Select OK to confirm.
