Shark Slider Nano Guide
Introduction
The iFootage Shark Slider Nano is a portable, bi-directional slider designed for both desktop and tripod use. It supports desktop payloads up to 3.5kg, vertical payloads up to 2.0kg, and bi-directional payloads up to 2.5kg, with travel distances varying depending on its usage.

Things to Check First
Start-up & Calibration
- Attach the battery. Slider can charge via USB connection.
- Hold down the [Power/Play] button for 3 seconds to turn on or off.
- The slider will perform an auto calibration.
- Confirm completion using the touchscreen.
Quick Start
- Press both [Play] and [FN] at the same time to enter quick start mode.
- Move the carriage to the start position and press [FN].
- Move the carriage to the end position and press [FN].
- Press the [Play] button twice to confirm and return to start position.
- Use the touchscreen to set the time duration.
- Use the icons on the touchscreen to loop or change direction.
- Press the [Play] button to start movement.
Bi-directional Tripod
- Attach the slider to a tripod using the mounting points on the bottom carriage.
- Ensure the tripod legs are spread out enough to adequately support the full range of motion.
Mounting Equipment
- Hold in the lock button on the carriage to lock the pan rotation while screwing on equipment.
- Install load perpendicular to the track.
- Check that the load is as balanced as possible.
- Use the leveling feet to level the slider.
Optional App Control
App control is available via the iFootage Moco App. Video can be shot directly in the app in ‘Use Smartphone’ mode. In ‘Use Camera’ mode, the app provides the same functionality as the touchscreen.
Timelapse Mode
- Connect the camera’s shutter release to the carriage using a cable suited for your camera.
- Select Timelapse mode on the touchscreen.
- Set the Interval, Output time, and Frames Per Second.
- Press the [Play] button to begin the timelapse sequence.
Stop Motion Mode
- Select Stop Motion mode from the touchscreen menu.
- Set the Output time and Frames Per Second.
- Press the [Play] button to start movement.
- Use the Step Forward and Step Back icons on-screen to move through the frame positions.
Things to Check First
- Ensure carriage lock is disengaged.
- Check that there is no debris in the track.
- Check for wobble in the top and bottom carriages at both ends of the track. Use the tensioning knobs to adjust tightness.
