Introduction

The Nikon Z7 II is a high-resolution model in the Z-series mirrorless lineup. It features a 46MP full-frame sensor, in-camera 5-axis stabilization, and high-quality 4K video shooting.

Focus Mode

  • Select Menu.
  • Turn the dial to select Photo shooting mode.
  • Turn the dial to select Focus mode.
  • Choose between AF-S, AF-C, and MF.

ISO Auto

  • Select Menu.
  • Select Movie shooting mode.
  • Select ISO sensitivity settings.
  • Set maximum sensitivity, then turn on Auto ISO control.

Shutter Speed

  • Rotate the Command dial (right for faster, left for slower).
  • You can view these changes on the top screen.

Image Quality (RAW & JPEG)

  • Press the Menu button.
  • Select the Photo shooting menu tab.
  • Turn the dial to select Image Quality.
  • Select the desired type of image quality (JPEG/RAW).

Mode Dial (Aperture Priority)

  • Set the Mode Dial to AV.
  • Press the lock release button.
  • Turn the Mode Dial to choose your desired setting.

Metering Modes

  • Select Menu.
  • Turn the dial to select Photo shooting mode.
  • Turn the dial to select Metering.
  • Select your desired metering mode.

AF Area

  • Select Menu.
  • Turn the dial to select Photo shooting mode.
  • Turn the dial to select AF area.
  • Choose between Pinpoint, Single Point, Wide Area AF(S), Wide Area AF(L), and Auto-Area AF.

Format Card

  • Press the Menu button.
  • Select the Spanner tab.
  • Select Format then press SET.
