Panasonic S1 Lumix – Video Setup Guide

Introduction

The Panasonic S1 offers 6K full-frame capture, 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording, Cinema 4K at up to 60p, unlimited recording time, and a Full V-Log/V-Gamut with 14+ stops of dynamic range.

Set the Mode Dial to Video mode to begin setup.

Image Stabilizer

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select the Video Symbol tab.
  • Select Other (Video).
  • Select Image Stabilizer.
  • Select ON, then press SET to confirm.

Rec File Format

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select the Video Symbol tab.
  • Select Rec File Format.
  • Select MOV, then press SET to confirm.

Rec Quality

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select the Video Symbol tab.
  • Select Rec Quality.
  • Select 4K 25p, then press SET to confirm.

Photo Style

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select the Video Symbol tab.
  • Select Photo Style.
  • Select Standard, then press SET to confirm.

White Balance

  • Press the WB button at the top of the camera.
  • Use the back dial to scroll and select the desired option.
  • Press SET to confirm.

Audio Levels

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select the Video Symbol tab.
  • Select Audio.
  • Select Sound Rec Level ADJ.
  • Select -12db, then press SET to confirm.

ISO Auto

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select the Video Symbol tab.
  • Select Image Quality 1.
  • Select Dual Native ISO Setting.
  • Select Auto, then press SET to confirm.

Exposure Mode

  • Set the Mode Dial to Video.
  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select the Video Symbol tab.
  • Select Exposure Mode.
  • Select M, then press SET to confirm.
