Blackmagic 6K Pro Setup Guide

Introduction

The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro is an advanced handheld digital film camera with a 6144 x 3456 Super 35 high-resolution HDR sensor, dual native ISO, and an EF lens mount.

ISO Option

Recd Menu 1

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Use the arrows on the screen to select the project frame rate.
  • Touch the screen and press your preferred frame rate.
  • Select Blackmagic Raw.
  • Select Constant Quality.
  • Select Q5.
  • Select 4K DCI.

Recd Menu 2

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select Blackmagic Raw or ProRes using the touchscreen.

Monitor

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select the Monitor tab.
  • Select between LCD, HDMI, Viewfinder, and All.

Audio

  • Press the MENU button.
  • Select Channel 1 Source and choose Camera Left or desired option.
  • Select Channel 2 Source and choose Camera Right or desired option.
  • Select Channel Level and set to 12dB for both Left and Right.
  • Use the arrows to adjust the Headphone and Speaker volumes.

ND Filter

  • Use the - & + buttons above the rear screen.
  • Select between 0.6, 1.2, and 1.8.

WB/Colour Temp

  • Select the top right button WB.
  • Use the LCD touchscreen to tap the desired option.

ISO Option

  • Select ISO 100.
  • Press RESET.
  • Select ISO 1250.
